The East Geelong Football Club was founded in 1879, nicknamed the Eagles. An active member of the local community, East Geelong Football Club offers junior and senior Australian rules football and netball. |

The Drysdale Football and Netball Club, nicknamed the Hawks, is a local Australian rules football and netball, for seniors and juniors, that plays in the Bellarine Football League and is an integral part of the Drysdale community. |

Geelong Racing Club
Geelong Racecourse is one of the most important regional racecourses in Victoria, holding more than 35 meetings each year, and it is the only regional racetrack in Victoria to hold meetings during the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival. While the current track was opened in 1908, there have been horse races in Geelong dating back into the 1840s. |
